Winter River Cruise in Prague
February 12, 2012

The coldest weekend of this winter season is finally behind us. The record temperature -42,2 °C from 1929 in South Bohemia remained unbeaten, however, it came very close! It doesn´t happen every year that you would see pieces of ice floating on the Vltava river, on some parts of the river there were people skating or playing hockey.
Those who chose to go on a river cruise did not mind the chilly weather at all though. On the contrary, what can be more appealing than a cup of hot tea or chocolate while admiring the beauty of Prague from a comfy and cozy – and pleasantly warm – boat. In the photo gallery you can have a look what such a cruise among pieces of ice looks like.
