The Upper Embankment

The Upper Embankment is located on the left one-way communication riverbank, which in the direction of the city center connects to Strakonická Street passing under the Railway Bridge and leading to the Palacký Bridge. Its name has been commonly used since 1880.

You can view this embankment in an untraditional way from the deck of one of our boats or steamboats if you take any cruise that is longer than an hour.
