The Art of Steam Travel on the River Vltava Exhibition

The opening of the Art of Steam Travel on the River Vltava, 1865-2015 exhibition prepared by the Prague Steamboat Company and the National Technical Museum in Prague was held on Tuesday, 16 June. The opening celebration was held in the Transport Hall of the National Technical Museum.
The exhibition commemorating 150 years of passenger boat transport on the Vltava will be open to the public from 17 June to 28 September 2015.
The show includes steamboat models, period materials, documents, film clips and much more. The exhibition also includes a picture gallery on the subject of steamboat travel with works by painters Jakub Schikaneder, Bohumil Kubišta and Josef Šíma.
