Get to Know the Vltava Festival
Something is always happening around the Vltava River, especially on Sunday, September 22. Make sure you put this date in your calendar and head to the river with the whole family.
On the occasion of World Rivers Day, the multi-genre festival Get to Know the Vltava (Poznej Vltavu) will take place on this day. It will uniquely connect more than 35 institutions around the Vltava River and will be the largest of its kind in Europe.
More than 80 activities will take place from the Podolska Waterworks to the Old Wastewater Treatment Plant in Bubenec. For one day, the banks of the Vltava will come alive with a unique mix of entertainment and knowledge. Inaccessible places will open their gates. Creative workshops and children's games will make the embankments dance. And word experts will introduce you to the river as you have never seen it before.
Prague Boats has the opportunity to be part of this great event and, in addition to a regular boat service to Prague Zoo under the Prague Steamboat Company flag, will offer an extraordinary liner cruise just for this day.
On the route Nádraží Holešovice - FHS - Čistírna odpadních vod - Císařský ostrov - Nádraží Holešovice a special line cruise will sail all day long.
