Gala evening of the Hospital Na Františku celebrated a significant anniversary on board Prague Boats
An unforgettable gala evening was held in the elegant surroundings of Prague Boats, where the Na Františku Hospital celebrated its 670th anniversary. The event was attended by dozens of prominent personalities from the fields of health, politics and culture.
The evening was hosted by the popular moderator Václav Žmolík and the musical accompaniment was provided by the Melody Quartett. Together we celebrated the significant achievements of the hospital and appreciated the work of those who contributed to them.
Among the guests there were important personalities of the Czech political and scientific scene. Present were, for example, Senator Jiří Drahoš, the leading Czech cardiac surgeon Jan Pirk, mayors of the central districts of Prague, the current prominent artist and painter Marek Číhal, the City Councillor and the former Minister of Health Roman Prymula.
The opening speech was given by Michal Müller, Councillor for Health of Prague 1, who emphasized the importance of supporting health care and science. The current Mayor of Prague, Bohuslav Svoboda, also graced the event with his presence.
Special attention was paid to the presentation of prestigious awards. JUDr. Alena Hanilcová, a lawyer at the Na Františku Hospital, received the Prague 1 Award and Prof. Rudolf Špaček, M.D., CSc., a prominent physician and educator, received the Honorary Citizenship of Prague 1.
