Camp Tour: along the Vltava River to the Troja Basin

On board our boats, another interesting Camp Tour event took place : the Vltava River to the Troja Basin, which captivated all participants with its deep insight into the history and urban development of Prague. The moderator of the cruise was the well-known Jiří Jaroš, who, together with experts from the Institute of Planning and Development of the City of Prague (IPR), spoke engagingly about the flood protection of the city, important events such as the floods of 1997 and 2002, and key projects along the river.

The cruise offered not only interesting information about the past, but also a glimpse into the future. Participants learned about upcoming plans to develop the Vltava banks and other projects that will help connect the city even more to the river.

The event provided a unique opportunity to see Prague from the perspective of the Vltava and to learn how the river has shaped the face of the city for centuries. The atmosphere of the cruise was also captured in the photographs, which you can see in our gallery.
